Rotherham Show

Rotherham show

The Rotherham show is an event held at Clifton Park. It was on the 8th and 9th of September 2012. The UMCC had a marquee with 3 tables inside. One table held Henna tattoos available for a small fee. We had two volunteers who are trained in doing Henna tattoos, the charges were ranged between £1-£5. We had a lot of custom as two of our staff walked around Clifton Park advertising Henna.
We also a wide variety of leaflets and posters broadcasting the events we run. Many spectators gladly took our leaflets and we now have full class of ESOL learners pre-entry, level 2 and level 3, ran on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday with a qualified tutor.
We also have many children attending homework club on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 3:30pm-4:30pm.
On the last table we had fabric for sale.
We also held a range of activities for the public. We had a giant snakes and ladders game which was fun for the family at £1 a go, if you took part you were given a jelly stick. People were invited to guess how many sweets were in a jar for the chance to win the whole jar. We also had colouring in for kids.

It was an enjoyable day out for all the staff and families
